All Makes Auto Rebuilders traces its roots back to 1946 when it was founded by William Christiano, a WWII veteran, in Chicago’s Chinatown. Originally known as Christiano Motors, the business started as an automotive repair shop. Over the years, it evolved under the guidance of William’s nephew and later his great nephew : Thomas Morano.
In response to changing market dynamics, particularly during the economic downturn of 2007, the business shifted its focus towards collision repair work. This transition led to the establishment of All Makes Auto Rebuilders in 2009. With a growing reputation for quality repairs and excellent customer service, the company gained recognition from insurance companies, eventually becoming a contracted Direct Repair Facility.
The automotive repair industry is plagued by a lack of transparency, honesty, and commitment, leading to customer distrust and dissatisfaction. Shady practices such as overcharging and subpar workmanship undermine the livelihood of honest repair shops. The business focuses on transparency, honesty, and commitment to rebuild customer trust. By showing customers the exact issues with their vehicles, providing honest estimates, and delivering on promises, the shop aims to attract and retain loyal customers.
